MS WILHELM GUSTLOFF

I have chosen two ships, which will be remembered during the voyage. SS John Crafton which wrecked  in front of  Kokkola (Gamlakarleby) on  the Gulf of Bothnia and MS Wilhelm Gustloff with nine thousand (9000) German civilians on board, which had been evacuated from the East Prussia's town Königsberg.  The MS Wilhelm Gustloff was torpedoed by a Russian submarine 30th of January 1945 on  the Baltic Sea.
At the SS John Crafton wreck we lay a Memory Plate, ORRSKÄR , 8th of SEPTEMBER 1905, SS JOHN CRAFTON .
On the Baltic Sea on the hypothetical sinking place we lay down  a GARLAND in the sea with the obituary : TO THE MEMORY OF  THE  9000 PEOPLE WHO PERISHED THEIR LIVES IN THIS TRAGEDY ON  A  COLD WINTER DAY ,  30TH OF JANUARY 1945.
SS JOHN CRAFTON, THE FLAG SHIP.
